We are preparing our young people for the future.
This program is so important that we elevated it to its own pillar to emphasize its critical role in preparing our youth for the future. Life and workforce readiness skills aren’t just for teens – they are critical for all our members. In our readiness programs, young people learn skills such as teamwork, time management, financial literacy, career exploration and job readiness. Key programs include:
Ready, Set, Work! program promotes financial responsibility among teens by building basic money management skills.
Life skills for our younger Club members include time management, teamwork and financial literacy.
Diplomas2Degrees is a college readiness program that guides Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success.
Money Matters: Make it Count teaches teens how to set goals, budget, save and invest. In addition to staff-led financial literacy sessions, young people practice their financial decision-making skills through fun, engaging digital tools and games. Teens who complete Money Matters show improved financial management skills, including saving money and sticking to a budget.
